1. luggage rack
The frame is a four-wall rigid frame with upper and lower openings to support the eccentric shaft and bear the resistance of crushed materials. It needs sufficient strength and rigidity, and is usually cast integrally with cast steel. Small machines can also use high-quality cast iron instead of cast steel. The main frame needs to be cast in sections and then bolted into a whole, so the casting process is more complicated. The frame of the self-made small jaw crusher can also be welded with thick steel plates, but the rigidity is poor.
2. Lower jaw and side guards
Both the fixed jaw and the movable jaw are composed of a jaw seat and a jaw plate. The jaw plate is a working part and is fixed on the jaw seat by bolts and wedge irons. The fixed jaw bed is the front wall of the frame, and the movable jaw bed is hung on the circumference. It needs sufficient strength and rigidity to withstand the crushing reaction force, so it is mostly cast steel or cast iron.
3. Transmission parts
The eccentric shaft is the main shaft of the jaw crusher and is made of high carbon steel. The eccentric parts should be surface treated and heat treated, and the bearing lining should be cast with babbitt alloy. One end of the eccentric shaft is equipped with a pulley, and the other end is equipped with a flywheel.
