The Structure Of The Jaw Crusher

Jaw crusher is abbreviated as jaw crusher. The structure of the jaw crusher is relatively simple. It is mainly composed of a frame, a working mechanism, a transmission mechanism, an adjusting device, a tensioning device, a device and a lubricating system. The overall structure can be divided into seven blocks. Today we will introduce the content of the three structural parts, let's take a look.

1. Rack

The frame is the main part of the fixed body of the jaw crusher. There are two manufacturing processes for the frame: medium carbon steel cast frame and medium carbon steel welded frame. On the basis of the original casting frame, the welding frame has added multiple reinforcing ribs, and through strict quality control and specific process requirements, it has achieved the same use effect as the casting frame. The frame is a four-wall rigid frame with upper and lower openings, which is used to support the eccentric shaft and bear the reaction force of the crushed materials. Sufficient strength is required, generally cast steel as a whole. Small machines can also use high-quality cast iron instead of cast steel.

2. Working organization

The working mechanism of the jaw crusher is composed of fixed jaws and movable jaws, both of which are lined with tooth plates made of manganese steel. The tooth plate is fixed on the jaw plate with bolts and wedge irons. Due to the direct participation in the crushing, in order to improve the crushing effect, the surface of the liner has longitudinal corrugations, and the unevenness is opposite. The wear of each part of the crusher liner is very uneven, especially the lower part near the discharge port is severely worn. Therefore, the inner liner is generally made up and down symmetrical, and the lower part is inverted after being worn to extend the service life.

Third, the transmission mechanism

The transmission mechanism of the jaw crusher is mainly composed of pulleys, eccentric shafts, tie rods and toggle plates. The eccentric shaft is supported in the main bearing on the side wall of the frame. In order to ensure the close integration of the movable jaw and the toggle plate, a tensioning device composed of a pull rod and a spring is usually used. When the movable jaw swings, it can not only ensure that the movable jaw and the toggle plate will not separate, but also partially balance the inertial force generated by the movable jaw and the toggle plate. When the eccentric shaft rotates, it drives the connecting rod to reciprocate up and down, so that the two thrust plates also reciprocate. Through the action of the thrust plate, the movable jaw suspended on the suspension shaft is pushed to reciprocate. When the movable jaw swings to the fixed jaw, the material falling into the jaw cavity is mainly crushed by the acting jaw plate.
