The working principle：
Quartz sand material is fed from the feeding end of the quartz sand dryer into the cylinder by the guide screw to the material plate, because of the body tilt and rotation, the material is raised and scattered along the circumference, while doing longitudinal movement in the cylinder; High temperature medium Z (hot flue gas) is folded to the outer flue through the drum and tail pipe, and the drum dryer and high temperature medium Z exchange heat through heat conduction and radiation, so that the water contained in the quartz sand material is heated and evaporated, so as to dry.

Applicable raw materials:
The drum dryer can be used in mines, chemicals, metallurgy and materials with high specific gravity, such as: slag, mines, metal powder, coal, phosphate, ammonium, sulfide, etc.
Industrial dryer work process:
Drum dryer is to shorten the overall dimensions of the dryer body by changing the single cylinder body of the single cylinder dryer into three stacked cylinders. When the machine is working, the material and the hot air flow into the inner to outer cylinder in turn. After the z-shaped reciprocating flow of the machine body, the heat energy is used to dry the material before being discharged.
2. The supporting device of the machine is to support the wheel belt and the supporting wheel on the outer cylinder, and the supporting wheel is directly driven by the motor. Through the friction between the supporting wheel and the tire belt, the cylinder body is rotated. The overall structure of the machine is compact, reasonable and simple. In order to facilitate the maintenance and replacement of wear parts, it is designed as an axial split type in the middle, and the connection is fixed by bolts.
Common problems and troubleshooting methods:
1. If the rotating gear of drum dryer is running, if there is an impact sound, stop and check it immediately and eliminate it.
2. Reasons for the vibration or movement of the rotating cylinder: A. The connection between the supporting roller device and the base is broken. The elimination method is to correct the fastening connection part to make it in the correct position. B. Wear on the side of the rolling ring. The elimination method is to turn or replace the rolling ring according to the degree of wear.
3. The reason for the excessively high bearing temperature is: lack of lubricating oil or dirt, adjust the matching clearance to prevent death.
4. The moisture in the dried material is greater than the specified value: the feeding is too much, too fast; the elimination method is to increase the furnace temperature or reduce the feeding.
5. The material of the dryer is less than the specified value, and the feeding amount is small. The elimination method is to increase the feeding amount, so that the cross-sectional area of the material filled in the cylinder has to be greater than 20% of the cross-sectional value of the cylinder. Therefore, the supply of hot air can also be reduced, that is, the supply of oil, coal or gas can be reduced.
