The briquetting machine is also called: strong briquetting machine, mineral powder briquetting machine, roller briquetting machine, goose egg forming machine and so on. The briquetting machine is mainly used for making balls and agglomerates of non-ferrous and ferrous metal ore powders, which are directly fed into the furnace for smelting to increase the added value. All metallurgical industry wastes and auxiliary materials need to be furnaced, and they all need a briquetting machine to complete. Its purpose is to reduce dust, control bulk density, return to use, improve transportation characteristics, etc. The design of the production capacity is mainly used for pressing dry powder into pellets in the Pidgeon magnesium smelting process.
The structure of the briquetting machine consists of three parts: the feeding part; the transmission part; the forming part.
1. In the transmission part, the main transmission system is: motor -- triangle belt -- reducer -- open gear -- roller. The main engine is powered by an electromagnetic speed-regulating motor, and is transmitted to the driving shaft through a pulley, a cylindrical gear reducer, and a rod-pin coupling. The drive shaft and the driven shaft run synchronously through open gears. A hydraulic device is installed behind the passive bearing housing. The hydraulic protection device is driven by the hydraulic pump to drive the high pressure oil into the hydraulic cylinder to make the piston produce axial displacement. The front end of the piston rod rests on the bearing housing to meet production pressure requirements.
2.The forming part mainly refers to the host part, and the core part is the roller. When too much material is fed between the two pressure rollers or a metal block enters, the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder is overloaded by pressure, the hydraulic pump will stop, the accumulator will buffer the pressure change, the relief valve will open to return oil, and the piston rod will shift. Increase the gap between the rollers so that hard objects pass through the rollers, and the system pressure returns to normal, which can protect the rollers from damage.
3. The feeding part is mainly to realize quantitative feeding to ensure that the material enters the pair of rollers evenly. The screw feeding device is driven by an electromagnetic speed-regulating motor, and is rotated by a pulley and a worm reducer to force the material to be pressed into the main feeding port. Due to the constant-torque characteristics of the electromagnetic speed-regulating motor, when the pressing material amount of the screw feeder is equal to the material amount required by the main machine, a constant feeding pressure can be maintained to stabilize the quality of the pellets. If the feeding amount is too large, the electricity of the feeding device will be overloaded; if the feeding amount is too small, the ball will not be formed. Therefore, skilled operation is an important condition to ensure the normal operation of the pressure ball.
