How to clear the cavity of cone crusher?
If the cone crusher is stopped under load, the crushing chamber must be cleaned thoroughly before restarting the cone crusher. Starting up in the state of crushing cavity full of ore will cause double damage to cone crusher and motor.
Reasons for stopping under load.
(1) Power failure or insufficient fuel
(2) Too much material entering the crushing chamber
(3)Discharge conveyor stop working
(4) The discharged material accumulates and blocks the crushing chamber
(5) Iron choking occurs in the crushing chamber
Clear the cavity operation.
Connect the hydraulic station to the cone crusher and start the hydraulic station. When the pressure of hydraulic station reaches 56MPa or 63MPa, the cavity clearing jack (CS75 and CS160) or top cylinder (CS240 and CS400) will lift the support sleeve to reduce the pressure of spring on the material stuck in the crushing chamber, and the material in the crushing chamber can fall freely. When there is no more material in the crushing chamber, the hydraulic station is depressurized, thus releasing the jack pressure and returning the support sleeve to the support surface on the frame.
