Method to reduce wear of eccentric shaft of crusher

As a kind of coarse crushing equipment, the crusher has a higher wear rate of its vulnerable parts than other equipment. The main wearing parts of this equipment are jaws, side guards, brackets, etc. However, some users may not understand that if the eccentric shaft of the crusher is worn, it will greatly affect its use time and work efficiency. Therefore, we need to take effective measures to repair the wear of the eccentric shaft in time.

The main wear forms of the eccentric shaft of the crusher include severe wear of the journal and eccentric section journal, excessive bending and fatigue fracture of the shaft. If the shaft is straightened, corrected and replanted, the repair process is complicated, and the quality of the repair is difficult to guarantee. Therefore it is rarely used.

A small amount of scratches or slight large-area wear or shedding of the journal can be repaired by hand grinding or grinding with emery; it can also be repaired by brush plating on site. Severe wear can be repaired by the following three methods.

1. Rotate the worn-out crusher's journal, and perform a small amount of processing on the premise of ensuring the designed surface roughness. Then, the bearing is prepared according to the processed journal size and its deviation and the matching performance of the original design.

2. Use manual arc welding to surfacing on the surface of the journal, and then perform cutting to reach the original design journal size. When surfacing, the surfacing process should be selected correctly to prevent bending and deformation of the traction shaft. When surfacing welding, the electrode should be selected reasonably, the diameter of the electrode should be small, and the current intensity should not be too high. After surfacing welding, a reasonable centering reference should be selected to ensure the accuracy of the operation of the crusher after assembly.

3. Put on the journal, complete the worn journal, and make another steel sleeve. The inner hole and journal of the steel sleeve should be an interference fit (S7/h6), and the outer diameter should be processed according to the original design dimensions and tolerances. The steel sleeve should be hot mounted on the journal.
